By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies.

We are a credit broker, not a lender. We introduce businesses to lenders and funders on our panel. We do not lend our own money and we do not decide whether an application is approved. That is always the lender’s decision, made on their criteria.

Most commercial finance is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Where a facility falls outside FCA regulation, you will not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme in relation to it. We will tell you whether a product we discuss is regulated before you commit to it.

Any figures, rates, repayment illustrations or timescales shown on this site are indicative examples only. They are not an offer, a quotation, or a promise of terms. Actual terms depend on the lender’s assessment of your business and are subject to status, credit checks and the lender’s criteria.

The guides, articles and product pages on this site are general information about how commercial finance works. They are not financial, legal, tax or accounting advice, and they do not take account of your circumstances. Please take your own professional advice before entering into any finance agreement. If you would like advice tailored to your business, speak to one of our brokers. That is a service we are happy to provide, and it is free to enquire.

Our enquiry and comparison service is free to you. There are no upfront fees, and enquiring does not involve a hard credit search.

Where an introduction results in a completed facility, we may receive a commission from the lender. The amount can vary between lenders and products. We will disclose that we are receiving commission, and tell you the amount on request, before you commit to an agreement. Where we charge you a fee directly, which is uncommon and only ever for complex cases. We will agree it with you in writing in advance.

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
• Submit false information, or someone else’s details without their authority
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system
• Introduce malware, or launch any attack that interferes with the site’s availability
• Scrape, harvest or systematically extract content, or use automated means to submit enquiry forms

We may suspend or withdraw access to the site, without notice, where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

We own or are licensed to use all content on this site, including text, layout, graphics and the Secure Business Finance name and logo. You may view, download and print pages for your own business use. You may not reproduce, republish or exploit any part of the site commercially without our written permission. Third-party names and logos shown on the site, including those of lenders, belong to their respective owners and are used to indicate the panel we work with.

Where we link to a lender or another third-party website, we do so for information only. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss arising from your use of them. Their terms and privacy policies will apply, not ours.

We take reasonable care to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free, or that the site will always be available and uninterrupted.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, and because you are using this site in the course of a business, we are not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or any content on it.

Where a complaint relates to a regulated product and you are an eligible complainant, you may be able to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service at financial-ombudsman.org.uk if you remain unhappy with our response. Most commercial finance is unregulated, in which case this route is not available, see what we do.

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or their subject matter, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
